They found it on 40th and D street today and I had to go to the impound to claim it. It was trashed. My interior is pretty much gone (yes even the back seat) the persons clothes, shoes, and tools were in it but nothing of mine. All thats left inside is the front two seats and the steering wheel. They took the sound bar and all of the stock speakers, My spare tire and wheel, my glove box WTF? they cut the soft top and took my fog lights too. Looks like they rode it hard because my tires show significant wear, but the lift and body, tires (missing a spare) and engine are still there but im not sure if any mechanical stuff is damaged, but im sure my clutch is probably shot. UGH what a way to ruin my year... Its on its way to Performance to get all new Mopar stuff on it from the factory. Good side is it will be like brand new when they are finished :) Anyone reccomend a good alarm system???

Glad to hear its back. The bastard(s) that took it and trashed it should swing from their short hairs

Glad they found it. Too bad it was trashed, but I like your perspective of seeing it as being like new when it's done. 8) Any chance they'll catch the punks that did it?

Viper has served me nice for years. Viper is part of DEI so they are pretty much the same as all of there other brands, like python and clifford. Also it has theft gaurantee of 3000 dollars if the do steal it. You can get a motion sensor for the soft top that can be tuned properly so that it only goes off once some one put a hand inside the jeep. sorry to hear about your jeep, but now you can just turn it into a trail rig :) ?

No trial rig for it, its going to have an entire new interior installed my insurance is covering it all and im out 500.00 for the deductable. There is about $6,000.00 in total damage and thats with all original MOPAR factory parts.

PM me if you need any info on a alarm or installation.

I have done them for 15+ years.

I have the ones in the TJ's down to a science, I mount them way up behind the cluster, you cannot get to any of the wires and such.

Need to make sure you have a hood lock too.

If for some reason you find yourself with an extra set of fender flares let me know.

Glad to hear that you got it back. My car was stolen years ago and my alarm system was hilarious! I didn't leave much gas in the car by accident the night it was stolen. When the person who stole it drove a few miles and realized they needed gas they pulled into the gas station to fill it up. They weren't able to turn the accessories off all the way (they jacked up the column too bad) and the car didn't turn off. When they went to turn it back on the car wouldn't start...the battery died! They left the stereo blaring and they was drawing too much power! HA! So...I got a full tank of gas out of the deal! PLUS...since the car died the idiot forgot to pull his notorious BIG CD out of the CD player when he ran away. I got the car back, gave the DC Sheriff the CD and they busted him from the prints they found on the CD.

GLORIOUS!!!

Anyway...sorry but I just had to tell that story...it has been a few years.
